AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and beverage vendors prioritise providing fans with a diverse array of international and local culinary delights, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate.

Please note that alcohol is not sold within public areas at the circuit. Don't forget that you are not allowed to take your own food or drink on the circuit (except for refreshments for children).

Smoking is prohibited.

Please note that the payment can be made mostly by credit card.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

From 2024, F1 races in Qatar should be held in November/October.

At the end of November, daytime temperatures in Qatar hover around 29-30 °C and nighttime temperatures drop to around 22 °C. Rainfall remains minimal, averaging around 8 mm for the whole month. In early December, temperatures gradually drop to an average of 25 °C during the day and 17 °C at night, accompanied by a slight increase in rainfall to around 15 mm, which is usually spread over two days.

Expect mostly sunny skies during this period, creating optimal conditions for outdoor activities and exploration. This period is considered one of the best for visiting Qatar and offers a break from the scorching summer temperatures. The mild and pleasant weather in late November and early December creates conditions for exploring Qatar's rich cultural and natural beauty.
